Once By The Ocean
Robert Frost
The shattered water made a misty din.
Great waves looked over others coming in,
And thought of doing something to the shore
That water never did to land before.
The clouds were low and hairy in the skies,
Like locks blown forward in the gleam of eyes.
You could not tell, and yet it looked as if
The shore was lucky in being backed by cliff,
The cliff in being backed by continent;
It looked as if a night of dark intent
Was coming, and not only a night, an age.
Someone had better be prepared for rage.
There would be more than ocean-water broken
Before God’s last Put out the light was spoken.

This was a whole clam. With all the chaos in the rain, not really sure what happened to the little guy. I guess we'll smell him soon enough. ;

An Ode to My Boys
Sheer happiness — to see this is to feel a chord being strung in my heart. Enjoy!
Father/Son Day at the Range

A Day of Love & Rememberance
18 years ago, on this very day, I gave birth to a beautiful little boy with dark locks that would shock most and olive skin that reminded one of being from the Mediterranean rather than of Anglo-Saxon origin.
It is on this day that we send a special letter to our baby boy in heaven via balloon in celebration of his birth and in honor of his memory.
Mommy loves you and misses you terribly, Little Man.
A Boost of Confidence
As many of you know, I have been actively searching for employment. Ever since what happened a year and a half ago, I realized then that I could not depend on others for my salvation. Much to my dissatisfaction, employment has eluded me. As it turns out, I have been barking up the proverbial wrong tree.
I was offered a job today as Adjunct Professor in Mathematics at Gulf Coast Community College. I cannot even begin to express how this small step has helped to boost my level of confidence in my abilities, not to teach, but to be of worth to some other entity besides myself and my family.
Excelsior!
