Tis the Season to Be Grateful
Thanksgiving is more than eating grotesque amounts of food. It’s about being grateful for the tiny things in life which give us the greatest of pleasures – such as arch supports for our shoes, and other minuscule, pitiful things that we all take for granted. What’s something tiny that you will commit to appreciating this week? ![]()
Nature Notes: November 23, 2009
The days have become increasingly shorter. So much so, that I long for the dog-gone days of summer. I wait in anticipation for the new season to come around once more – to allow me more “day” time. The weather has been hot, cold, rainy, and foggy. Today, it is muggy. The temperature lingers around 71 degrees farenheit. At times, I find myself wanting to move back home where one can experience all the seasons in all their glory. But alas, I remain steadfast.
