HCG Hormone Diet
This is a test … you may follow me if you choose, but look away if I crash and burn! I am so over this weight. My 6th baby broke my body and from that point on, I have pretty much maintained 148-154 lbs. no matter what I do. Even running 6 miles per day did nothing to alter my weight.
I consider myself to be a very healthy person in terms of diet. My food is generally clean (sans the times I choose am forced to consume fast food or food that appears healthy but probably isn’t). I try not to ingest anything containing chemicals, HFCS, preservatives, etc.
I exercise when I can now, but I can’t seem to get rid of this stinking weight – which, as most anyone who may be overweight knows, becomes more challenging to do as time passes. Plus, with total BHRT, weight loss becomes even more challenging (it’s not the hormones themselves, it’s the imbalance of hormones that will kick a person’s butt).
So, I am trying the HCG Hormone Diet. Today is Phase 1, Round 1, Day 1 — and I bent the tiny needle while injecting myself. I truly suck at this – thank goodness I didn’t finish nursing school!
I’ve read about different methods of preparing for the diet, such as gorging yourself for 2 days. I had a high fat day 2 days ago (because I was being lazy and refused to cook), and yesterday was a good day: apple for breakfast, veggie salad with oil and vinegar for lunch, and baked chicken and a green bean variety for dinner (the boys had boiled red potatoes added to their plates). I had a handful of mixed raisins for a snack. That is more of a typical day of eating for me.
Here are some other things that I might do:
- Increase water intake (hard for me because I hate water)
- Walk (I can do this if I think about it – most of the time I forget to think about it :sidefrown: )
- Apples
- Raw Organic Apple Cider Vinegar (3 tbs./day)
- ThreeLac
- Eleotin Tea
- Wu Long Tea :-?
- Chamomile Tea
- Green Tea (already drink)
- Organic Yerba Mate Tea
- Probiotics (already use)
